Generate a pre-billing worksheet.  This worksheet can be used as a tool to verify the accuracy of billing information prior to running an actual billing.  Generate paper or electronic billings.  Electronic billing formats include the new HIPAA compliant ANSI X12N 837 version 5010 electronic billing format.

Print patient statements.  Patient and/or insurance balances can be displayed.

Compress an electronic billing claim file.  This will decrease the transfer time by approximately 90%.

Send electronic billing files via the internet

Print electronic billing response files that have been downloaded for review. 999 Acknowledgement, 277 Health Care Claim Status Response, 835 Health Care Claim Payment Advice.

Add charges automatically to patients accounts.  This can be used to charge interest or a flat charge to selected patients.

Create a file of the most commonly used rejection codes.  When a billing is rejected, the reason for rejection can be looked up on this screen by entering the rejection code.
